Merida, a spirited princess, is to be married. That's what her mother decided. A competition will decide which firstborn of the Scottish clans will marry Merida. However, the talented archer does not adhere to this tradition. She fights for her own hand and in doing so insults the other clans of the kingdom. The alliance is in danger of falling apart. Nevertheless, Merida doesn't give in, she wants to change her fate and goes to see a witch. But the magic works differently than expected and Merida has to show all her courage if she wants to save her family and her kingdom...
