Lucky Prescott is a bright girl who only knows rules in theory. She inherited her love of horses and spectacular adventures from her mother, who was a big name as a stunt rider in the small town of Miradero. Under the watchful eye of Aunt Cora, little Lucky pushes her luck once too much, which leads Cora to decide to bring Lucky back to her father Jim in Miradero. She can't expect any adventures in the sleepy nest. However, when she meets the wild mustang Spirit, a new chapter begins for Lucky: she befriends the proud horse, makes new friends and has to save Spirit's herd from a nasty one Save horse breeders. Together with her new friends, the brave girl rides on the most exciting adventure of her life.
